It may be a challenge to be a grillin’ pro when using the Char-Griller 3001 Grillin' Pro 40,800-BTU gas grill, but for the money, it can be a bargain buy of a grill and a satisfactory product.
 
The Char-Griller 3001 is a sturdy unit, constructed of heavy duty steel. It offers up plenty of grilling space, with the primary grill grid area measuring at 436 square inches and the convenient warming rack providing an additional 192 square inches. Grill grates are heavy cast iron to provide stable and even heating, with a porcelain coating to help avoid sticking of food and flares from below. Three burner tubes with independent front panel controls allow the user to choose how much heat is used from which burner. A total of 40,800 BTUs are available from the three burners, with an additional 12, 000 BTU offered from the side mounted burner that can be used for heating sauces or other types of foods.
 
Several extras are added for ease of use; the electronic ignition is equipped with igniter probes at each of the three burners. Mounted on front center of the black hood is a stainless steel thermometer, designed to allow the user to monitor heat temperature of the grill at all times.
